Connect With Your Light

Picture
Life brings forth many obstacles, struggles and painful experiences that can lead one to block the light that shines out of their heart and not function to their full potential.

Engaging in  the creative process of art making slowly erodes the barriers that we can build around our hearts that block us from fully living; eroding these barriers allows for light to shine from our heart and to enter our heart.

At TLOTH we work with you to connect you with your light and gently move you through the darkness by engaging in art therapy with master-level art therapists. We believe that we all have a bright light shinning deep from within our hearts and that all of our lights can shine brightly. After all, the brightest lights are found in the depths of the darkest darks.

Wise Words About the Light Within

As far as we can discern, the sole  purpose of human existence is to kindle a light in the darkness of  mere being...Carl Jung

Our
deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful  beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us.
We ask ourselves, 'Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?'  ...
Actually, who are you not to be?
You are a child of  God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around  you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.  As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others... M
arianne Williamson

The light which shines in the eye
is really the light of the heart. T
he light
which fills the heart
is the light of God, which is pure
and separate from the light of  intellect and
sense…Rumi

There are two ways of spreading light- to be the candle or the mirror that reflects it
...Edith Wharton

I wish I could show you, when you are lonely or in darkness, the astonishing Light of your own Being...Hafiz
